About Avalon Sanders

Avalon specialises in finding the unique 'edge' for each property, enabling it to shine and unlocking its true market potential. Working alongside James, together they are known for delivering better than expected outcomes for their clients.

Originally hailing from Whakatane, Avalon is of Ngai Tahu descent and grew up in a large family with seven siblings. She came to real estate over a decade ago from a top-level hospitality management career, which saw her working in some of Auckland's preeminent restaurant operations. She also boasts fifteen years of television presenting, public speaking and high-level entertainment planning. All of this means that Avalon is used to working in dynamic environments with a wide variety of people giving her the skills of organisation, quick thinking and coming up with innovative solutions.  Real estate was therefore a natural progression and a great way to transfer these skills into another fast paced industry.

Avalon focuses on building lasting relationships with her clients. This underpins everything that she does and has a big impact on the real estate experience her clients have. She focuses on their needs first and delivering exceptional customer service, which means listening empathetically then cleverly innovating within changing market conditions to deliver smart solutions and the best results. Avalon knows how to lead her clients to take decisive action when needed, supported by her keen instinct for the market.

Outside of work Avalon enjoys experiencing all the local area offers including walking on the beaches with beloved pooch Teddy. She also likes yoga and spending time with her three daughters. Avalon thrives on extending herself, pushing the boundaries (she has run an Auckland half marathon), learning new things and generally living her best life!

Avalon and James have lived in the Warkworth and Snells Beach area for 20 years and have brought their three daughters up there. They bring grassroots knowledge of the real estate market that only locals can bring. They enjoy giving back to the local community and are keen supporters of Homebuilders Family Support Services, an independent community organisation offering a range of services, which support local families living in the North Rodney area. They also support Springboard, Mahurangi East Tennis Club and Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary.

With a reputation for operating with professionalism and integrity, Avalon and James are proud to enjoy a high degree of referral and repeat business as they help people to live their property dreams.
